With a big dose of love and gratitude, Therése continues her journey – this time around with Swedish songs.

“Djupet av min själ, which means The depth of my soul, is about trying to find your place in life and be true to yourself after life has taken a new direction”, says Therése Neaimé.

The new songs on her upcoming EP are written straight from the heart, in collaboration between Therése and well known composer Peter Hallström. Playing on the recording you´ll also find some of Sweden’s most renowned musicians such as Peter Hallström,  Per Lindvall, Fredrik Landh and Clas Olofsson.

The song “Djupet av min själ” also comes with a music video filmed in the heart of Stockholm. It´s been directed, filmed and graded by Stefan Lundaahl and edited by Javier V E. Also a special thanks to Hans Montelius at Cinemantrix for guidance and cameo in the video.

“As an artist, and a mother of two, I feel more grounded than ever before. It felt natural to write in my native language this time.  I’ve tried not to censor myself, and the lyrics are more open and personal than on my previous albums”, Therése Neaimé says and sums up her journey when she adds: “I went from being the little girl who wasn’t sure she could really sing, to sharing the stage with the legendary band Simply Red in big arenas across Europe”.

Therése Neaimé is a Swedish artist and composer who have released three albums and several singles on her own record label. She has been in the music industry for more than 15 years and has worked as an artist all over the world.

After 5 successful years in the US, Therése is back in Sweden, but has over the last 8 years, also built a career in the Middle East. With her hit single, “Today is a holiday”, sung in both English and Arabic, Therése has become an established artist in that part of the world.

Reaching almost 9000 views on YouTube in just a few days since the release, Sandstorm has already taken off…

– This song is about resilience, love, freedom, positivity and the strong belief that we can all make a difference, Therése says . About how all these things shapes us as human beings and how we sometimes has to keep strong no matter what happens in our lives. I could not imagine any better place to bring this personal story to life. Paris is just incredible, the vibration there is so unique, says Therése Neaimé.

– The lyrics of this tolerant love song are somewhere unexpectedly and terribly resonating with the recent incidents in Paris, the place where we shoot the video. I would like to send my love and thoughts to these Parisian and French people standing by millions for freedom, love and tolerance. May the city of love keep on walking through the sandstorm.

– Sandstorm’s story being deliciously romantic while being profoundly positive. I could not imagine any better place to bring this personal story to life. Paris is just incredible, the vibration there is so unique, says Therése Neaimé.

– Sandstorm symbolizes what happens in our lives while we sometimes have to split from the one we love. It tells the story about the sentimental storm that takes you down in such an intensity that you just think you’ll never go through, says Therése.

Surrounded by a French fashion experienced team, Therése needed this bit of “French touch” on her new video, putting a pinch of subtility, emotion and romantism, a touch of classiness.

– Cyrille Totozafy, my manager, put together a team with a strong experience in the fashion field (fashion press editorial, cosmetic TV ad and so on). I really loved their vision of my music, and of myself. I felt like a princess and I felt blessed. We were able to mix something simple, reachable with a more emotional, more in depth feel with a main character that is always feminine, strong and stylish, says Therése.

– There is a segment where I was asked to dance a bit in an incredible haute couture dress, reminding my oriental roots. The schedule was pretty tight, but I believe we did an amazing job, I am happy.” she continues.

The story is about a terminating relationship that takes place in the city of Love. Therése plays her own character and Nicolas Roussiau a beautiful French actor, plays her fiancé.

Sandstorm is a new single from Therése Neaimé’s 3rd album of the same name, composed/written by her, Maria Marcus and Niclas Lundin. Therése is one of the most famous Swedish singers in the Middle East, having articles in OK Middle East, Al Saada, Hello Mag, Aviator, Gulf News, L’Officiel, Insider Mag, being the face of Arabian Woman magazine a few years ago.

Therése Neaimé toured the world from Los Angeles to Singapore, Europe and the Middle East. She performed for the troops in Afghanistan and opened for Simply Red on one of their recent European Tours. She has performed for the King and Crown Princess of Sweden and at numerous VIP events.
